He said it on the postgame, with Bertrand. If you think I misheard him (it happens to all of us, after all), please feel free to find it and post a link. I strive for accuracy, and would appreciate the pointing out of such an error.

I have no idea what he said on the postgame show. As I said, you may be right. I'm basing my comment on the many articles he's done on Boston Sports Journal. The list I cited was from his final roster makeup.

On the 28th, he did a breakdown of players he considered to be on the bubble. He said this about Berrios.

Pro: Solid second-year slot guy who is probably ready to be an NFL punt returner. Plays special teams. Tough.
Con: Nothing really special with him as a receiver, mostly average for a slot. Catches the ball with his body.
On the 26th, his breakdown column had (for WR) Edelman, Gordon, Harry, Thomas, Dorsett and Meyers (and Slater).

On the 20th, he DID have Berrios on his 53. He said this about it:

Release Phillip Dorsett: I had the Patriots at eight receivers, including Matthew Slater, but that’s way too many. I’m worried about Maurice Harris. I really like him, but with Josh Gordonback along with N’Keal Harry, I’m not sure how much depth they need at X with DemaryiusThomas now off PUP and Cam Meredith waiting in the PUP wings. … Right now it’s BraxtonBerrios vs. Dorsett. I feel better about Dorsett as a security blanket, but I can’t get over his Chris Hogan-ish treatment last year. Plus, Berrios is a better backup to Julian Edelman and returns kicks. Dorsett doesn’t have much special teams value. … I’m keeping Berrios, but I don’t feel great about it.
On the 12th, he had Berrios there as well, but that was because he wasn't at that point counting Gordon or Thomas as possibles.

An article on the 6th said:

Braxton Berrios: His only saving grace could be that he’s the only ready backup for Julian Edelman. But that’s it. He hasn’t won a spot this camp. Very ordinary.

So there's a summary more or less of how he viewed him over the past 20 days. The last line was the impression I got of what he thought all summer. Very ordinary. But as I said, I don't listen to very much on air stuff anymore. It drives me crazy. I can't tolerate much more than 30 seconds of F&M. So I don't have any idea of what he's said away from BSJ.
