I wouldn’t draft/trade for a QB this year at all. Focus on DL/WR/TE in this draft, get some of the injured guys back from the 2018 draft and hopefully plug a lot of holes in our roster that enables us to aggressively trade up for one of the top 3 guys next year.

Blasphemy to some on here I know but at that point Brady will be 43, give this guy a clipboard for a year and see how #12 is still performing at 44.

People need to take combine numbers for what they are... I think NE benefits GREATLY. Other (stupider) teams fall in love with these numbers and arrogantly think coaching will make them HoFers. BB knows the tape and interviews are much more telling.

What did Jerry Rice and Tom Brady run in the 40 ? How would Montana have stacked up to JaMarcus Russell ? How many receivers ran faster than JE11 (straight line) ?

He's a good talent but he's a third rounder in my opinion. He will be over drafted though. I'd love him here with one of our comp thirds.
