Due to historical trends, I find myself rooting for Baltimore to come back and win this thing. It's a very bad omen if Indianapolis advances to the AFC championship game. If you can't remember the last time both the 1 and 2 seeds failed to advance to their conference championship...
...it's because it's never happened. In the 32 year history of playoff seeding, one of the top 2 seeds has advanced to the conference championship game each year.
That's not to say they should cancel tomorrow's game, because there is a first time for everything, and I still believe the Pats can take them. But it would be a bad omen. The Patriots would have to overcome incredible odds in that scenario.
