The Annual PatsFans Draft Contest, 2017

Julien davenport bucknell
Vince biegel wisconsin lb
Bashem de ohio
Harvey langi lb
Teez tabor cb florida
John johnson s bc
Delano hill safety
Did you read my latest mock :)

I've been high on Basham and Hill for a while and had Langi, Davenport and Tabor in my final mock. Love this list.

Budda Baker, S, Washington
Derek Rivers, LB, Youngstown State
Roderick Johnson, OT, Florida State
Jordan Morgan, G, Kutztown
Pita Taumoepenu, LB, Utah
Javancy Jones, LB, Jackson State
Des Lawrence, CB, North Carolina

Jordan Morgan - nice. des Lawrence too. Two long but reasonable shots. Morgan really interests me as a dominating run blocker.

Conor McDermott, OT, UCLA
Daeshon Hall, DE, Texas A&M
Michael, Roberts, TE, Toledo
Roderick Johnson, OT, Florida State
Jalen Reeves-Maybin, LB, Tennessee
Desmond King, CB, Iowa
Delano Hill, SS, Michigan

It was pretty tough to cut my original list down to seven. I have seen some of these guys mocked as early as day two so it's hard to believe they will all be available when we pick.

Hit on the first pick for the second year in a row! Granted I was screaming for them to cut Cyrus by week 6 lol

Only other player taken on my list is budda so we shall see what day 3 brings.

Well, I got ONE correct so far with Garcia (yay me). I figured OT was likely, but I included Davenport to increase my odss of getting at least one correct, but doing so also effectively reduced my odds of getting more than one correct.

I was on the fence between Rivers and Anderson, but went with the latter because I thought Rivers was more likely to be off the board by #72. Oops.

Also gone from my contest mock are Griffin and Walker. I pretty much expected Walker to be gone, but I thought the Pats might still have a shot at Griffin at #131. Oops, again.

So, now I'm essentially down to Ebukam and Elder over the final three picks.

Not liking my odds for getting any more correct.

One of my choices was signed as an UDFA. Can't I get a little credit?

I had Cole Croston on my initial list of about 12 before the final cut.
