Tom still had a great year but deep ball accuracy was never his forte and he did a ton of that in TB. Plus he didn't have that 3rd down back type either.

I do think hes lost a little bit of the quick reflex ability but the talent on offense made up for it.

I think there’s a certain amount of judgment in those figures. I didn’t watch a lot of Tampa Bay games so I can’t speak to him missing guys, but I recall Cam throwing the ball at people’s feet. Deep passes are always lower percentage plays. A 5 yard out shouldn’t be.

Yeah I agree he also not as great vs blitz as he used to be. Could be correlation with loss of reflex and lack of a White/Vereen/Faulk type of back

In 2020 Tom was near the bottom of the league in on target throws and near the top in bad throws. Both are accuracy-related.

Good thing he has all those playmakers on offense.

If he was still here it would be painful to watch.

Sandy didn't want to use it b/c it would damage her nails which made absolutely no sense since a dishwasher's purpose saves the individual from washing dishes manually.

Oh I thought you premise was Brady is slipping. Yes I agree anyone's numbers would suck with the present NE WRs. Even the GOAT.

I do think his physical and mental acuity has slipped a smidge (hes fortyfreakingthree!) which has influenced him to change his game a little but clearly hes still a top 10 QB. He might not have the elite accuracy or the elite footwork agility from 2010ish but he still kicks ass.

Kinda like MJ in his mid-30s. Instead of going to the rim 1/2 the time in his youth, hes settled for the post up, step-back fades and used screens more. Still pumped 30ppg, was still clutch and won titles.

The greats just find a way....

It really is pathetic. How about just enjoy Mahomes. If you need to try to tear Brady down to elevate your own guy, he was never good enough in the first place.

I'm pretty sure that's how fans are. You come here and there's a lot of tearing down Mahomes. He's elevated by the weapons. They haven't beat anybody. I've seen him called a mongrel on this website more than once. They make fun of his voice, his girlfriend. Worry about his cap number. He is a product of Reid. Montana, Elway, Rodgers and Five Head suck. It's part of it.

You shouldn't be able to go on the air and spew accusations like that. It's become so normal no one bats an eye but it's ridiculous.

The closer we get to this game the more I worry about the KC defense. I think they are very good and I'm not worried (in relative terms) about the KC offense. They will put up points but the scripted plays TB uses to start the game will decide everything. You can't go 3 and out 2 times to start off and PLEASE don't run straight ahead for 2 on the first play.
