Plus Pats used their 1st rounder on a player that will be a better player in '17 than anyone taken in this 1st round.

I totally agree. Other teams reached for highly suspect QBs. If JG wasn't really on the market, as plenty of reliable sources have said, better to load up on talent and wait for next year's QB class rather than hitching your wagon to a stiff.

Don't force it. They're not a QB away. But with these picks and the ones they have banked for next year they're more likely to be when they do get a QB.
