One thought at this particular time: have you ever seen the locker room of an 8--8 team after the final game of the season that was happier and more celebratory than the Jets' after Woody "Is the ball stuffed with feathers" Johnson spoke?

I used to think there was something "off" with this franchise for its culture of celebrating winning the annual May Super Bowl, but that was a new low even for the gang in green. I was waiting for someone to pop a champagne cork.
