It's as if Sanchez thought that by sucking, he would enter a realm where his suckitude transforms into awesomeness, only he failed to account for the fact that he sucks so bad that he is exempt from that realm... With five games to ago, Geno is well on his way to eclipsing his mentor: through 11 games, he now has 8 TD's to 18 INT's, versus Sanchez who had in his rookie season 12 TD's versus 20 INT's.

He also just managed, in back-to-back games, to flirt with or beat Sanchez's worst QB rating (last year, in the dreadful NYJ-ARI game that set football as a sport back about 25 years). Although this week was very, very close: Geno had a 22.34 versus Sanchez's sparkling 21.42.

Mark my words, that Geno is going to be a very special talent for the Jets. :rocker:

Do you guys watch the games or do you just read blogs and media reports? I couldn't count on my fingers and toes how many dropped passes the receivers and TE's had today.

The receivers are barley getting off the line and your complaining about Geno holding the ball too long? NO **** NOBODYS OPEN. The same people saying he's no good are the same ones that were saying how much better he is then Sanchez.

Geno is going to be an outstanding an nfl quarterback I know most of you are probably used to premature things (If you catch my drift) But it's far too premature to start labeling Geno a bust no pun intended. Seriously just shutup you sound like a bunch patriots fans.

That O.P. may just be the stupidest poster in the history of the internet. He actually tried to defend Smith by pointing to Brady's early season numbers and to Manning's rookie INT numbers.

I can't wait for him to compare Geno Smith's rushing to Barry Sanders or Jim Brown.
