From today's game...THE Generic Jet Fan Loser....

ah yes....THERE they are....never forget....THIS is the TRUE NATURE of Jet fan....

this photograph taken yesterday...in case you thought it was just the same old recycled SOJ bagheads...nope...this is the updated Jet Fan baghead....

Just my mid-season post to this thread.

Yes, the Jets still indeed suck.

Move on. Nothing to see here.

I'm kicking myself for not going to the game yesterday....it was clearly a glorious day in the stadium. When the only time you hear that awful "J-e-t-s" chant is during the opening kickoff, you know its a fun day. Any Patriots fans nearby might want to buy tickets to the next Jets/Patriots game, should be a good laugh.

Beningo's rant was a bit shorter since he was on the phone and not in studio, but still funny, WFAN posts them on their website if you missed it. He basically wants everyone in the organization gone.

Another one for the Jeopardy question:

What is the average IQ of the New York Jets fan base?

Huh huh that's a trick question.

The SeaHawks in Seattle coming off of their bye and the patriots 2 weeks after that, 4-7 is a best case scenario for them and that will put their season and possibly the Ryan/Tannebaum era to an end. I believe Woody Johnson will throw money at Bill Cowher to return to the NFL and give him complete control of the team, we'll see?

That would be a great scenario for the Pats. Bill Cowher is one of the most overrated coaches in pro sports. Those Steelers teams were always stacked, and he choked year after year in the big games. That SB he won was one of the biggest jokes I've ever seen with those admittedly biased refs. Cowher was just a cog in the wheel of a very successful organization. He is way too old school in his ways and will never adjust to the modern NFL. He also had **** LeBeau, who was the much more valuable coach on the staff.

As far as Rexy goes, I can't stand the guy, but he is actually a very good coach. To go above .500 for four years with Mark Sanchez as your quarterback is pretty admirable. He is a great defensive coach and keeps the team motivated, even though his tactics are often embarrassing when they backfire. I think the Jets would make a huge mistake if they blame Ryan for the team's failures UNLESS he insists on maintaining personnel decisions (who is making them now?) In my opinion, the Jets biggest problem has been a completely inept talent evaluation program, from the draft to free agency. Mangini drafted Revis, Mangold, Ferguson, Harris, and Keller. Thus far, under Ryan the Jets have merely plugged holes by overpaying free agents with Tanny's "genius" backloading of contracts, which is another way of saying "let's wait one more year before this thing blows up."

Whoever is in charge of talent evaluation should be gone without question.

The Green Beans are on their bye week. Two whole weeks for the team and its fans to sit and ponder how much they SUCK! :singing::singing::singing:

I don't partake in this thread often but I will add that my favorite part of the Jets last two losses is that their vaunted special teams were directly responsible for their downfall. Westhoff has complained in the past about calls and used the "Patriots do it too" argument. Schadenfreude rocks.
