While Coples did play 39 snaps (64%) in the Jets/Dolphins game, the mighty Aaron Maybin only managed 5 snaps (8%).

The article fails to mention probably their biggest offseason miss which was not being able to lure Peyton Manning who's having an MVP season. They should have backed up the Brinks truck to his house, dumped Sanchez and use McElroy as their back up QB. I know Manning had no interest in playing there but you never know... money talks. Instead they extend Sanchez and bring in Side Show Tebow.

You think there was any chance of Peyton going to the sh t show known as the New York Jets. Not bloody likely!

They couldn't just back up the Brinks truck; there is something in the NFL known as the salary cap and the Jets are not in the best of spots with the cap. Also, why would Peyton want to join that circus? They talk loud and walk softly. No talent at the skill postions and a shaky line. There was no way Peyton was gonna be a Jet.

I am sure Reggie Bush is laughing. After Maybin said this week that the Jets wanted to knock Bush out of the game legally, it was Rex Ryan who knocked Maybin out of the game legally.

Maybin was one of the most overrated players in the NFL last year. He was a sack master if Revis forced the opposing QB to hold onto the ball for 5-8 seconds. I don't think I ever have seen a defender get more coverage sacks in a single season as Maybin did last year.

As for Coples, Jets fans over at JI were convinced that the Indy game was Coples' coming out party and we would be talking at the bye (now) how Coples was surpassing Chandler Jones. What Jets fans failed to admit is that the Colts have an one dimensional offense with no running game and Luck over reliant on Reggie Wayne who the Jets took away along with a mediocre o-line.
