Makes sense - i mean if Von Miller had 2 sacks against the steelers think of what a 320 pound guy might do.

Perusing the Rat boards there is now grudging mention of how well Chandler Jones has performed. They are not saying that Coples is a bust, but they are "saying" without actually saying it, that they should have picked Jones instead of Coples.

Funny, two weeks ago I was called a homer troll who doesn't know anything about football because I was too ignorant to suggest that at this point Chandler Jones is far super to Quinton Coples in his abilities. I was instructed to look at the preseason stats and see that Coples was far superior. Of course Coples had to play vs. the back ups and amass his stats, while Jones played exclusively with the ones and the Patriots' ones didn't play much this preseason.

Winslow is an upgrade over every TE on the Jets roster, with the possible exception of Keller, yet many of the posters on JI are bashing the signing.

Others were more along the calmer sort of bashing. Look, people here bashed the idea when it was first floated. My only point is that the Jets have Keller and then a whole lot of nothing, and Keller's injured. For any Jets fan to be negative about pretty much any TE signing at this point is just stupidity on their part.
