The 2012 season: the Jets [Mod Edit: STILL] suck

The funniest thing about that thread is that there is a poster who thinks Gronk faked his injury in the Super Bowl. I have seen this several times on JI with some Jets fans claiming the Pats made it up to give them an excuse why they lost the Super Bowl. I love the fact that Jets fans are that stupid.

Yes, Gronk faked the injury. He even went as far as to get unnecessary surgery in the offseason to sell the ruse. That is how far Gronk and the Pats will go to make up excuses on why they lose games.
I find it amusing that some of the Jets bandwagoners are positioning the Patriots for a Superbowl hangover. In 2008, the Patriots had an 11-5 Superbowl hangover minus Tom Brady. During that time, the Jets best regular season has been 11-5. So Patriots hangover > Jets success.

but but..the jets always win the SB ( in the off season)

Good news already for the Jets. Third round pick Demaroio Davis flunked the conditioning run due to a tweaked hamstring. Or as everyone else puts it, he was either too slow or out of shape.

Kinda funny that the fans on JI were making fun of the Pats for having a seventh round pick and four UDFAs fail the conditioning test.

The "We'll sweep the Pats this year" thread on JI is all the evidence you need of this constantly stupid Jest mentality. Someone actually had the hubris to proclaim them going 12-4 this year (only achieved that record ONCE in their long futile history)!

I am at a loss of words to properly describe my reaction to this news.

Report: Jets considering using Tebow on kickoffs

The Jets might be further expanding Tim Tebow's role again, making him the most multi-tasking backup quarterback in the league.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Jets are considering using him on their kickoff team now in addition to the personal protector on their punt team, hoping to utilize his speed.

[Special teams coach Ben] Kotwica said that he’s not concerned about Tebow’s speed getting down the field or about his ability to make a tackle when he gets down there.

How many times have I stated that Westhoof is a friggin' drunk?

If Tebow gets destroyed on a kickoff the ol' doddering drunk will blame the Pats and the Rat fans will be in full "beastin'!!!!" mode like the simpleminded morons they have ALWAYS been.

I can't wait to see Tebow on Green Beans special teams. Nothing like humiliating the team's most humble player and best leader while clueless Li'l Marky goes through the motions at quarterback. :singing:

I have never seen the level of nutbag hysteria higher than this summer, as far as the Rat fans and their guarantees...I mean, it's the main source of amusement for Pats fans every season but THIS year, with the absolute blind bat belief in Rat greatness as their rallying point, they are convinced that every single idea, every move, every new player..each and every one is perfect...but only because it's the Jets. You can tell that half of the JI mooks are getiing into their 50's but instead of showing a little tempered wisdom, they are actually regressing into the realm of the 6 year old fanboy...astounding stupidity combined with Stockholm Syndrome that is off the charts.

Personally, I can't wait to see Mssrs. Ebner, Slater, and Edelman "greet" Tebow downfield long before he has a chance to bust out a big play.

from what I've read, the freaking green nitwits want to use him as a GUNNER on kickoffs, not a return guy.

Ganggreen has this poster...Murrell something

He says every year jets will split with pats..every year...and point out jets are what 3-4 against the pats since ryan? Yeah..that's a record to keep talking about!!

DWC is back from his 20th ban on JI and he's been crowing about that great 3-4 record as well. Half of them think it's proof that they've passed the Pats since Ryan has brought them to the AFCCG twice in his first three years. Somehow LOSING it twice alludes them to their typical failure although they love to point out how the Pats failed by losing the SB. The only worse twisted green logic comes from those who claim Brady is clearly on the decline, even though he posted his second best career numbers last year. Most of them are completely clueless.

So the question now is, who sucks worse, the Jets or the Jets fans? I think that's a question that would stump even Stephen Hawking.. It would keep him busy for a while anyway. I know I can't figure who sucks worse :singing:

Sanchez is 4-2 in the playoffs in the last 3 years

Brady is 2-2 in the playoffs in the last 3 years

Sanchez has beaten Brady

Sanchez is 25, Brady is 36

Regular season is for losers

Sanchez > Brady

Suck it you ****ing troll!

except for last season though...last season the horrible Patriots beat the Jets twice en route to their 5th Super Bowl appearance....because the Jets overthought everything...that's right...the Jets lost because they out thought themselves...it had NOTHING to do with the Patriots...don't believe me??

Congrats Cheats

Can't get any lucky then the Pats

Jets off all night in all 3 phases, timely penalties, too much thinking.

Rex had the Jets thinking too much, sometimes you just need to go out
and play, no way Pats should win this game, no way the Jets should lose it

Jets beat themselves by overthinking, and then you have Brady doing what
he does best, dissect a defense that is confused and is not ready

Wrong defensive game plan, press and go after the QB, BB won the chess
game tonight.

Jets will be there at the end, they let the Pats get in thier heads tonight.

THAT my good friends is comedy gold right there...dead serious...."too much thinking."

In Ray Ray's defense, it's pretty clear from his postings that he's not a big fan of thinking.

The Jets actually were what inspired Hawking's pioneering work on the study of black holes.

yeah.."for all intensive purposes"...but don't tell him that OR.....he have a "canary" and start "whistlin' gypsy"...and then blurt out something like...oh...I don't know...THIS??? (posted immediately following the Pats beating his Jets in Foxboro)
