Granted contractually for a bonus, he has to show up for the first day of camp (he has an one million dollar reporting bonus). So there is a chance he shows up he first day and then begins a hold out the second day.

I have to agree that I thought he would hold out. We shall see.

I enjoyed it when Revis talked smack about Tebow before their game last year and then pulled an ole when he had a chance to tackle the QB on the game winning drive. He's a great cover corner, but I still wouldn't want him and his selfish attitude on my team. He'd be tough to root for.

I have to say that I've enjoyed reading this thread. There was a time that I'd have some sympathy for the Jets and their fans, and I'd even root for them. That all changed when that disgusting load of blubber showed up and then started yapping about our team.

Looks like that may happen. Grab the million guaranteed and go back on summer vacation at Revis Island. Team is spelled "I" as far as Revis is concerned. It is all about him. I hope this happens, PLEASE. The crap needs to fly immediately at Jet camp, and continue all season long.....

I'll give Rex credit for recognizing the problems both with team morale and with his own lack of focus on important football issues that really matter. Implementation is never easy and where theory encounters the messiness of reality. He may well coach better but the 2012 talent die is pretty much cast.

He needs to recognize that the Jets suck and there's nothing he can do about that.....but as you say I give him credit for recognizing he made them suck even more.

The funniest thing about that thread is that there is a poster who thinks Gronk faked his injury in the Super Bowl. I have seen this several times on JI with some Jets fans claiming the Pats made it up to give them an excuse why they lost the Super Bowl. I love the fact that Jets fans are that stupid.

Yes, Gronk faked the injury. He even went as far as to get unnecessary surgery in the offseason to sell the ruse. That is how far Gronk and the Pats will go to make up excuses on why they lose games.
