the corpulent, bloated ,degenerate gift that just keeps on giving...and giving...and giving...and giving...things just won't be the same once the axe falls on Porky Cryan's blubberneck.......

but...don't fret...he has a world full of new opportunities in advertising...

like Rhino Muzzle... a pet muzzle so strong it actually silences the deafening barking of the crosseyed Ryanmaraner...

or how about Dr. Scholl's Rex-proof Bunion Pads...pads so strong they can withstand the feverish groping of the sweating razorback hog in heat...and all his new internet friends too...

or the new Accu-weather 10,000...called the Anti-Ryan in the industry because of its high rate of successfully predicting storm tracks and weather events...the front of the packaging will have a red line through a photo of Wrecks holding up the #1 and drooling spittle from his cake stuffed mouth.

the advertising possibilities are endless...imagine the juxtaposition of the Geico gekko with a running amok wildebeest like Cryan, sweating profusely on handfuls of phony car insurance policies...Get Geico....Or You Could Get This Guy

so let's enjoy the big, dumb, loudmouthed deviant as long as we can...there will never be another...(mainly because one in a lifetime is enough)....

It doesn't appear as though Rex thought this one thru. His transparent attempt to take the focus off his team, which is playing like crap, and put the spotlight on himself in a lame attempt to build team unity might work in a vacuum like chamber that houses his massive ego.

But the 50/50 odds that San Diego would show up and sleepwalk through the game are now gone.

Norv's comeback is priceless

NFL.com news: Jets' Ryan calls Chargers coach Turner to clarify comments
Norv wins by TKO.

I can't wait for this game. I got a feeling we are all going to be Charger fans for this game. :rocker: Hope the Bolts " AMP" up for this one. I want a blow out. :singing:

Where do today's Jets teams rank in franchise history? - TheGangGreen.com Message Board

Simply put if Sanchez pans out to be even a slightly mediocre QB, this is undoubtedly will be the best time to be a Jets fan period.

The fact is the Patriots are a dying team, literally built entirely around one player (32nd ranked defense anybody) and soon as that player retires (which isn't in the distant future) nobody will even come close to touching us in the division.

Meanwhile we easily have the best coach in the HISTORY of our organization, who undoubtedly will go down as one of the most elite coaches in the sport as well, as well as a young cornerback who virtually guarantees this to be an elite passing defense for at LEAST another 6-7 years and also will go down as either the best or 2nd best at his position EVER.

I mean sure the Jets of old did some old stuff, but were talking a dynasty here. And if our promising 24 year old QB continues to mature at even a fraction of his current rate, were talking about 15 more years of Sanchez/Rexy possibly completely surpassing alot of things even those other 2 guys in the AFC east did.

Lets be honest, had we been in ANY other division in football other than the AFC east there wouldnt even be a fraction of debate about this right now

I don't even know where to begin.

Is there a special hospital where they take people who have overdosed on stupidity?

Brilliant.

They have a nice psych ward at Bellevue. Hopefully that's where Rexy will go when he gets canned....

Hey Plax is getting into the act now too.

“The more we get comfortable, we start playing pitch and catch and I’m doing my thing out there, the offense is going to go through the roof,” Burress said. “It’s only a matter of time.”

Jets WR Plaxico Burress says it's only a matter of time before offense 'goes through the roof' | NJ.com

What is "his thing"? From what I see have seen this year is going at half speed, getting out powered by opposing defenders, and running poor routes.

For all the talk on this board about Ochocinco, Burress is probably a much bigger disappointment this year because the Jets are trying to make him a focal point of the offense.

Damien Woody on the Jets.

“They just want it on the outside and for everyone to see them for how special they are. The thing I had a personal issue with when I was there was guys trying to copyright things and be known for what they’re saying and this show and that show,” Jenkins said.

Jenkins seems to be referring to Darrelle Revis here, who copyrighted “Revis Island.”

Opps..that was Kris Jenkins.

These next two games will decide our season? - TheGangGreen.com Message Board

Just read this..hilarious

IMO as long as we beat SD we should be a shoo-in for 10-6 and maybe even 11-5. Looking at the schedule, there should be no way we're not winning 6 out of the final 9 games.

If the Pats lose to any team other than the Jets and we win out, we easily get a first round bye.

Its amazing. They beat a **** team in miami and now they are winning the final 6 out of 9. They may beat SD..but they are losing to buff and the pats..again

In addition to not being father of the year, Cromartie's ex-teammates open up about his antics.
. “We all know there were guys in the locker room who didn't like him,” cornerback Quentin Jammer, one of Cromartie’s closest friends on the team, told the San Diego Union-Tribune right after the trade. “He didn't like them.”

“You don’t have the animosity between players, between player and coach,” Weddle told the San Diego Union-Tribune at the time. “We come out each day and we’re working hard, we’re competing and we all want to get better, and we’re all listening to our coach.

"There is no second-guessing. Coach says something, it applies to everyone. We’re all at the same level. We’re all holding each other to the same level.... Me and Cro had conflicts. That’s just the way it is.”

No wonder Cromartie fits in with the Jets

This is the funny part:

IMO our season is riding on these next two games. If we want the division both these games are must win. If the Giants or Steelers could somehow beat the Patriots, it would set up a battle for first place in the division. We would be (2-0) in the division while the Patriots would be (2-1).

Apparently, the Pats beating the Jets two weeks ago didn't count in the division race as far as division records go.

I do think it is funny that they are talking about winning the next 10 games on their schedule like they are unstoppable or something. At this rate, I don't know if they can go .500 the rest of the way. There aren't many teams with no or one win left on their schedule right now and since opening weekend those are the only teams they seem to be able to beat.

If Rex Ryan had taken over the Patriots instead of Bill Belichick, the Patriots would have won the last 11 Superbowls!

Michael Irvin predicted on NFLN this morning that Li'l Marky will be benched in the near future. Even though the Screaming Clown said it, it's still a fun thought.
