There also is the possibility that the New England Patriots could still jump into the fray. According to sources, the Pats have contacted the Titans about Jones behind the scenes, but have yet to enter into any formal negotiations. That is something that could materialize near draft time, depending on what happens with talks with the Cowboys.

Another one year deal?

I sure as hell hope not. The guy is not all there and is a complete ****.

I wouldnt pay any attention to the 'nashville city paper'. Its barely circulated around Nashville. Plus, I've been listening to nashville sports talk with Frank wychek all morning, and havent heard a word about it. Not that I know everything. I would just take this with a grain of salt.

Behind the scenes....as opposed to going on the NFL network and talking with the Titans GM about it?

Sign him up! Defense wins championships!

sign him for 2 years and don't start him for any games the first year

If he behaves himself after the first year then maybe he's ok.
It would take a lot for a jerkoff like Pacman to deal with a situation like that.

If he acts up, cut him and he doesn't get a damn thing.
ooooooo we would lose another backup DB. that never happens.

we might as well add him to our practice squad, less hit on our cap, whats the point of having him there and we wont use him, its a waste of money that could be used elsewhere for something more productive

I'm just calling it now. The pats are going to trade for Pac Man on draft day. He will then play and have a great year for us, and stay out of trouble, only to be found making it rain in a strip club during super bowl week.

No, they'd have Gostkowski appointed as his babysitter to keep him out of trouble (a Ghost is, after all, the natural enemy of a Pacman ).

well i was obviously assuming he would be signed cheaply. that goes without saying. the pats wouldn't pay him a lot at all.

And he doesn't have to be starting to make a difference.

Look at LeKevin getting a sack in the Stuperbowl. I got to see him do it live. One of the most beautiful things i've ever seen.

I hate to tell you guys this that dont want him here, but if he comes to New england, that pretty much seals the deal for a superbowl. I dont know if i recall correctly, but I seem to remember him being really good.

Schefter just mention on Total Access that the Pats are lingering in regards to Pac-man.

Personally, I do not want him here. But, everyone deserves a second chance. On the football side, he would be a nice addition to the secondary and would be a tremendous return man.

Pacman is a punk who doesn't think the laws apply to him. There is a man in a wheel chair for the rest of his life because Pacdousche had his black gangbanger bodyguards shoot him. Result, massive coverup by the Vegas police whose only job is to protect the "image" of the Vegas gambling machine aka the mob. This ******* should be in jail for as long as the man who's in the wheelchair which is forever. If he ever plays for the Pats I will give up watching NFL football which will be no loss.

Id probably sign him up on a 2year deal for cheap, you could always cut him if he acts out, the reward is bigger then the risk IMO....

I think that's a gross mis-representation of the events that transpired in the Vegas strip club and includes severe, not even remotely masked racist undertones... but I do agree that Pacman is about as smart as a box of bolts and doesn't really belong on the Patriots. He is a tremendous talent but the risk is too great that he simply isn't worth the reward like Randy Moss, a far more proven player whose problems were significantly less.

fair enough many subbed players have made differences in games, and its too late here in london as well as my minds fully focused on the yankees to recall any :bricks:, i was saying it's a little impractical to not have him do anything if hes getting paid a lot, as opposed to a small amount, your idea is good do not get me wrong, as long as the amount hes being paid is decent enough not to force changes concerning players salaries

edit- that sack had to have been a beautiful thing, since your probably LeKevins biggest fan

So worth at least a 4th round pick - a lot higher than what the Cowboys have been offering.

No loss for the nfl or no loss for you? Because if its no loss to you, then why do you watch it now? I dont think i could ever stop watching football.
