For most of his time as a Red Sox player, he was one of the best hitting catchers in baseball, so I have no idea what you're talking about. 2006/7/8 have been a different story, but prior to that he was elite.
I'm also a little annoyed with his attitude in recent contract negotiations.
I appreciate him for what he was but man do I hope the Sox are thinking about his replacement. Hopefully a minor league prospect can come up and step up.One of the members here theorized that he turned down $10 million in arbitration so that he could sign for less later and keep more after his divorce was final ...
He has always been one of my least favorite players ... he is what he is.
where is Doug Mirabelli when you need him :confused2: ...
nobody ever said he turned down arbitration to cash in after his divorce. you must be off your meds again. the theory was tek was waiting to sign the contract he now has till after his divorce was final. try to keep up.One of the members here theorized that he turned down $10 million in arbitration so that he could sign for less later and keep more after his divorce was final ...
and then some Yankee fan will tell everyone how the Yankee's dont have a advantage over the entire league. No chance, the Yankees will do their usual back a Brinx truck up to the guys doorstep. Any elite free agent goes to the Yankees, that's just the way it is...........

teks divorce goes to mediation today. meaning if he signed a contract before today there was a very good chance that half of the contract would have gone to his soon to be x wife. when he signs after today the entire contract money is his alone.
do you see any mention of arbitration in those quotes? learn how to read and take your meds you stalking freak lol.
