Sunday Games Thread: Bills/Jaguars and Panthers/Saints

Correctamundo. Steelers aren't going to be caught sleeping this time around. That game is going to be played 24/7 on the TVs in the weight room, if Tomlin has any sense in him.

Or, equally likely, he starts talking during the week about the real game that will happen in two weeks.. because he is a clown..

not sure why they run 10 seconds off on a penalty. Isn’t the penalty yardage enough ?

The grounding is done to avoid a sack. A sack would have left the clock running. If there was no runoff, they would be rewarded for the penalty. The penalty yardage is where the sack would have been, but you would have stopped the clock

Peterman. 51 snaps, 6 INTs. Outstanding ratio.

His passes outside the hashmarks seem tailor made to fall lovingly into the arms of defenders.

Pitts D has more sacks than Jax? Wow

Peterman's always playing with fire. When he got in against the Pats he got praised for his quick release, but I thought that a couple of his passes were only inches away from getting picked. He needs to get much better in reading the defense or he'll be a turnover machine.

Arm was under the ball. Clearly visible in one of the side shots.

Side shot showed the ball on the ground.

The fact that one hand was under the ball is irrelevant since part of the ball was on the ground and the ball was moving.

now lets make Cam look stupid again boys

I don't know man. From one angle I thought that when the ball moved Ramsey managed to just get his arms under it so it didn't touch the ground. When it appeared that the tip touched the ground one moment later he had control over it again. I'd say that inconclusive is the right call.

I clearly saw it hit the ground, and even though he had his hand under one side the of the ball, the ball was moving. Especially when he came down to the ground in the first place, the ball was loose, he controlled it with aid of the ground and had a hand under it. Thought that much was conclusive.

what about unintentional grounding that was called IG from yesterdays game when mariota wasnt trying to avoid a sack

It's been so long since the Patriots beat Tennessee in the PO's there will be another entire group of nfl fans that hate us again...it makes me warm and fuzzy inside...

Well Big Ben has been running his mouth about wanting another shot at Jax, since his 5 pick display earlier in the year. He gets his wish. Got a feeling he lights them up this time...hope I'm wrong

Laissez les bons temps rouler! Geaux Saints!

Buff made it respectable but their O was/is just pathetic. Their D kept the game even and gave the O the ball repeatedly. But Buff's O has been pathetic and it was again today.
But this was almost the nest outcome for the Patriots (best: Bills win, Titans beat Pitt, Patriots path to the SB: Bills then Titans). That crazy final in the Patriots-Steelers game looms huge.

Yup. They will light em up. Force Bortles to throw and it's ovah.
