I don't think refusing to take an interview the day after the season ends and your HC is fired while Kraft is doing a conference at 1PM somehow equates to poor leadership or that he's not proud of being in the Pats franchise

I disagree. He's the face of the franchise (such as it is). He needs to suck it up and address the media whether he wants to or not.

We also don't know if he flat out refused or the team told him to. I don't know. I don't think it's that big of a deal. He's not even the captain

Oh, come on. We all know Jacoby wasn't really the captain. Maye's going to have that stupid "C" patch on his jersey next year and every year after that.

I hope they keep Milton for at least another year. The chances Maye gets injured at some point next year and has to sit out a few games is high. With Milton we have an exciting backup qb with extremely high ceiling (with very low floor). Truth is if Milton can learn and learn and change some of his decision making and mechanics from college...he could be a very very good qb.

No matter what people may think, Maye is not a sure thing. Great to have a backup plan B
