Another cut has happened today, with Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald reporting that safety Ross Ventrone has been released. This now marks the second time he's been cut, and the only way he'll likely return would be if the team signs him to the practice squad.
Ventrone, who was already released a couple of weeks ago and was resigned on August 23rd, was excited about getting another shot while hoping he could also try to make it as a special teamer.
Obviously things didn't work out that way, so hopefully he'll get a shot either on the practice team, or with another team.
He's also the brother of ex-Patriots special teamer Ray Ventrone.
