Steven Jackson!

Yeah but Blount is horrible against Good/Great Defenses...a 32 year old Steven Jackson > Blount. When you have a RB who can pound it and also catch it the Defense can only do so much.

Lets hope. There are very few backs who can run when the opposing team is geared to stop the run. Right now, the only person that can consistently do it is Adrian Peterson. Blount did not seem to like contact before he got a head of steam going.

He has a all world talent in Beckham
Familarity with Vareen and how to use him
A good to very good QB in Manning.
Draft picks a historic franchise

Well we didn't know Dion was going to be the blocker he was until he actually showcased what he could do in a game.

And maybe Trey was smaller, but Trey was supremely jacked. He looked like a minature tank out there. I'm sure he could pick up the block better than a lot of our revolving door O-linemen.

I just depressed myself talking about the line.

Are you serious?

So you think that OTAs and TC didnt tell our coaching staff that Dion could pass block so they trodded him out just to check if he can do it?

You actually believe that Williams is a better blocker than some of our lineman? wtf?

Sometimes you can really read some absurs stuff here..

Again, I personally believe it's Brady that makes Josh look better than what he is. When he was HC in Denver, they were a terrible team and everyone I know from Denver (I'm currently in Vegas so there are a lot of transplants here) hates him.

I think he places Brady in decent position to succeed, no doubt, as he's definitely a pass first O.C. But still, I hate more of the playcalls that he makes than I like, even if they work. So thankfully I'm not the OC of the Pats haha

I would like him to be aggressive more than he is. I hate when the Pats don't try to score.

I think Brady makes the entire coaching team look better. I am in the minority when I say this but Belichick without Brady would not have a single super bowl ring. Heck, I wonder if he would even have a playoff win. Brady is the GOAT and 40 years from now, people won't even believe a player like him existed.

You see I'm not an absolute homer so I call out the faults of my team. What I said was an exaggeration, but it's not far from the truth. Our line has been really poor for a few years now. How they cannot seem to protect the greatest man ever to get under center is beyond me. It's infuriating to see Brady get hit the most in the NFL. It's like they don't have any fire, or they don't feel disrespected.

Anyway that's just how I see it.

And yeah I don't think Williams was given a fair shake. I was in the camp calling out Bill for putting Gray in the doghouse, so you see where I stand on these kinds of issues.

You do realize practice is not how the game actually goes right? It doesn't matter what they saw from him in practice, they should have played him in the gimmie game vs the Titans and seen what he was worth. It couldn't have hurt. We lost our starting RB-- I'd give Bo Jackson a damn tryout at this point, let alone a kid that *appeared* to be 95% of what Lewis gave us., not to mention our laughable injury preponderance this year.

All I'm saying is that I would have liked to give him the same chance we gave Lewis to wow us. When Ridley went down, we took chances at the RB position and it paid off > 2014 Blount, Gray and then Lewis.

Edit: to be fair the Line was EXCELLENT vs the Texans.

Todd Gurley says hi

Yes, but he is still early in his career - and in reality he had 4 great games, was shut down for the next 5 and just had a big game against Detroit.

Heck, even AP was shut down against Seattle and Arizona.

You are basically saying BB is incapable of finding and developing a good QB.

Look at the list of QBs who have won SBs in the BB era.

How crazy would it be if Brady goes down in the playoffs Grap comes in and the offense doesn't miss a beat then Superbowl comes and Brady is healthy.
How crazy would that be?

It's better than the alternative view that most people have, which is Brady is a product of Bill.

For all the accolades people are heaping onto Josh McDaniels for Brady's success in this thread, you'd think Bill has nothing to do with it.

My opinion is that this franchise's success hinged 60% on Brady and 40% on Bill (which includes the coaching staff).

Bill makes boneheaded mistakes too, lets not absolve him. But Bill himself says the players win the games. He can only place them in position to succeed but if you're not a great player, you won't.

That and he is in the top 5 in most major rushing categories.

In one of the most important categories to me, yards per attempt, he's tied for 204th with 35 other players.
In rushing yards per game he's 40th.
In rushing TDs he's tied for 11th
In total yards he's 6th.
He's 4th in rushing attempts though, which probably explains his higher rankings in total yards and rushing TDs.
I'm sure that LaDanian Tomlinson is happy though. Bettis's enshrinement will help him get some votes.

He's a hall of famer if Jerome Bettis is.

Bettis has way more TDs and much better playoff run, and a SB ring. jackson only played in 2 playoff games.

i doubt jackson will ever get in to the hall unless he can go on a crazy run with us for next few years.

Bettis also had literally the worst choke in the history of sports, but Ben bailed him out with a shoestring tackle. Willie Parker was key in their SB run. Bettis was a fat anchor that nearly sunk them.

@Th3Birdman care to explain why you think Belichick wouldn't have even a playoff win without Brady? I'll wait for your explanation.

LT had a great career....even though he is a jerk.

Birdman didn't say that, Mosi did

Birdman disagreed with my post that disagreed with mosi's post, so he agrees with mosi's. I'ma need explanations from both of them because that statement is on Interception's level of stupid.

Belichick won a playoff game with Vinny testeverde
