This game in some ways reminded me of many of the games during the mirage winning streak last year: at home, didn't lose the turn-over battle, didn't lose the penalty battle, points from the defense, opponent's injuries before the game and during the game, favorable calls/non-calls from the zebras, poor decisions from the opposing HC and/or QB... The only things that seemed missing were the wind & rain...

Obviously sunday was a great defensive performance. I don't love how easy it is to run on us, however... Hopefully a healthy Lawrence Guy makes a difference ! Defense against Lions was very reminiscent of our old "bend dont break" defensive years. Lions seemed to move the ball alright at times but were stopped on 3rd/4th/redzone plays and we had timely turnovers/sacks/stops.

I saw some improvement from some guys I'd thought "disappeared"... Wilson (nice stop on 3rd or 4th down), Uche (noticed him pressuring Goff a few times), Bryant (Late game pass breakup). It occurred to me that Baramore has been relatively quiet this year after many expected a "breakout" season.

We could certainly use more speed at Lb. Why do we continue to draft plodders like Anfernee Jennings who moves slower than a sloth. Fields made our linebackers look like statues
