Despite @Ian ‘s best efforts, a once great site has become a total sh*tshow that is now overrun by an ever-expanding group of miserable, spoiled Millennial whiners. Just look at the current threads, including this one. It’s a neverending stream of “Ok, let’s complain about this player/coach now!” threads with a sprinkling of pre and post game threads and when they run out of new victims they just circle back and beat those same horses to death. It’s brutal.

Yall a bunch of negative Nancies...

IMO, this team is better than last year's team. The way we played in GB is how we should play...conservatively. It is true that we put waaayy too much pressure on the defense to be perfect. At least, on Sunday we didn't turn the ball over and gave the D some breathers.

We only got beat by a great QB who probably should have had them up 31-24 near the end of regulation. That was a great throw to Doubs.

I am very excited to see us face the Lions offense because I think our D is up to limiting them to 21-24ppg if we consistently have 40-50 yards of green to defend.

The issue on defense is more about the talent and its lack thereof; but for Ganja's sake can somebody, anybody, on that side of the field, pretty please with sugar on top, very strongly suggest to Bill to keep Myles of Space on the ****ing bench WHERE HE ****ING BELONGS... m'kay?

At this time last year we had the same record and you can find posts I wrote that say I believed we were better than our record at the time. Last year's team had a cohesiveness and flow to it that this year's team has not shown so far. It isn't scientific, but I go by the eye test. That's why I'm not as optimistic currently. I hope I'm wrong though.

To me it seems like the Boomers are the ones doing most of the complaining on here. I always thought this site was majority boomers because millennials are more likely to take their opinions to Reddit. I would love to see demographics on the site though.

I do think it’s hard to deal with a rebuilding season if you have only known winning. That really only describes a portion of the millennials though. I’m a millennial and I’ve been supporting the team since Bledsoe and Coates

It might be tough to see because not everyone posts their age, but it would be very interesting to see. I don't think there's many people in their 30's or younger on this board. I would take a guess there's less than 5 people. By the way, I don't see how Reddit ever became popular. That website is a sh*t show.

Same. I was a teenager during the Bledsoe era and the mid to late 90's was my favorite era in general watching football.

The same Yac Jones fans are the same Bledsoe fans 20 plus years ago.

They were wrong about Drew Bledsoe and will be proven wrong about Yac Jones. Yac was surrounded by the best players in the country at Alabama.

Lmao. Triumph is having another tantrum. This one is because I threw his Bledsoe love back at him. Like Brady, Jones is considered a game manager with an average arm. The Jones haters, like Triumph, are exactly the same crowd who wanted the big armed QB a little over 20 years ago. As it turned out Brady’s arm was just fine, and he became the GOAT,

It’s ok Triumph, you were wrong about Brady, eat your pudding and move on.

Jones has coughed the ball up 6 times in 3 games. The only other play is to take the ball from his hands and run the ball.

The playcalling is not the problem.

Also, QB play effects the entire team. Defense too. How often do you see a change at QB and the team starts playing good.

Once the NE QB problem is solved, this franchise can get back to being a serious contender again. The Pat's are ranked around 24th in the NFL right now. Below average.
TBF, most of those were Jones trying to get the ball to Parker.

If you are attempting a mic drop, at least get the saying right, you imbecile.

Your table is missing all the ifs, ands or buts of why our #s are what they are. It has no context, like if this would've happened or that wouldn't have happened, our #s would be..... I mean we're really a 3-1 or 4-0 team, damn your #s.

Not sure how our D allowing 199 and 188 rushing yards in back to back games has anything to do w/ Agholor fumbling the ball. Maybe our front 7 lack of talent, especially the LBs has more to do with it. Just a wild guess. Maybe Bill went out and signed Collins to give the LBs motivational speeches.

Parcells head would explode if he had to listen to these fans and media. I'm all for context but some things don't require a deep dive into film or a fancy chart. We struggle to score points and have for a year and half.

There are a good amount of posters here that will just ignore stats that go against their narrative. The converse crowd or new balance brigade are a fun bunch.

I believe the kids these days would say: "This thread aged like milk".

Ya I mean media can't hype Lions as "#1 offense" and then the defense not get credit for shutting them out then again I saw this coming knowing how much Pats defense has completely made Goff look like a D3 QB.

How about it ...
22nd in the NFl defense ...
23rd in NFL offense ...
Too much Matt Patricia in the forum ...

Equal time here ... it's a reality of 2022.
Its not the coach imo its the lack of good players. Last season we got hammered during the last third of the season and playoffs on defense especially stopping the running game. Most here thought the team needed help in the front seven, particularly at LB. But the front office in its infinite wisdom thought otherwise and never addressed the issue.

My guess after today's Defensive Gem, there is little to whine and bytch about....

Great defensive game against a team many thought had a juggernaut offense.. 0 for 6 on fourth downs, that has to be some sort of record.
