Chidi isn't an adequeste CB and wouldn't have played regardless. There are a few players above him on the depth chart including guys on the practice squadHe is an excellent special teams player but he just isn't and NFL CB.

Colclough hasn't started a game in his career. I doubt the Steelers are sitting there, thinking their season is over.

Would Iwuoma probably be there instead of Madison if the Pats hadn't signed Chidi? Sure.

I feel the same way. Colclough was a nickel back, I think. Chidi might have been useful in dime packages. Either way, a ST standout who is also a CB would likely have stayed with the Pittsburgh roster had this happened earlier.
