An interesting mention by the NFL Network Tuesday night. There are 724 Trillion Possible NFL Schedules, and if the challenge for the schedulemakers wasn't enough, they had to deal with another issue not related to sports.
For fans of U2, eight games had to be altered to accomodate the band's 360-degree tour. The tour altered the schedule in Arizona, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, New England, Tampa and Washington, with the NFL having to move their games as the band's tour had been scheduled prior to the dates being decided on by the league.
U2 is currently scheduled to play at Gillette Stadium on September 20th and 21st.
