Wish we had resigned Dion Lewis instead of the always getting hurt Burkmeister.

Lewis was injury-prone at the time too, signing either of them was going to present that risk.

2014- Ridley- IR
2015- Lewis & Blount IR
2016- Lewis IR for 1/2 the year but otherwise healthy
2017- Burkhead hurt a couple of times but otherwise healthy
2018- Hill IR

I consider week-to-week to be wonderful news, considering what I was expecting when I first saw the play. Hopefully the young man gets well soon.

Wow, bullet dodged. I figured even the best case scenario would have him missing a 4-6 weeks at least.

It still might, but with the bye and Buffalo games, we probably couldn’t realistically ask for anything more. This is great news.

Edit: just saw another report suggesting that it may not be too bad. My expectations are for him to return in a month after the bye week. That seems reasonable.

Actually, the QBs liked having Pass around. BB mentioned it in Patriots Reign.

I read Patriot Reign and didn't remember that, but I knew there had to be someone there who liked him. He was around for the first three SB teams.

Btw, I met him a few times at a charity event and he's very likable. He also looks like the last guy anyone would want to try and tackle.

White is on pace for about 1,300 yds from scrimmage (and 16 TDs).
Michel, before he got hurt, was on pace for about 1,130 yds from scrimmage (and 10 TDs).

If BB's not too pissed off at him, and Matt P. is willing to part with him, Blount would be an easy back to transition back to the system.

Lions are still in the hunt, though. Blount's getting about 10 touches a game and has 3 TDs. Doubt Matty P would dump him.

Grissom or Keionta Davis would be the 1st two on the list.

Someone had a list of backs that included Derrick Henry, Gillislee, Darkwa, Webb, Farrow.

There is also the potential for a trade for someone like Prosise, Abdullah, or Blount.
