Should we consider drafting Joe Alt in the first round?

Brady sat a whole year and the next year he came in because Bledsoe got hurt. QB3 will also sit 2024, we ok with that, right? Do you expect this qb to start in 2024? Should we ask season ticket holders what they think?
Brissett is the starter in 24. We know he can take a licking and keep on ticking, and if he does happen to get hurt, not much is lost. If we get our high profile rookie hurt we're in the crap for as much as another 5 years. They're not gonna rush him if they're smart, and I think they're smart.

The only real concern to me is Kraft meddling and upsetting the timetable if ticket sales are slow. That will kill the monkey. Hopefully Wolf and Mayo can keep a lid on Kraft and let the kid learn for a year while they bring in some young talent on offense and let it harden in the oven with the veteran Brissett in command.

I think of Brissett as the rookie’s whipping boy. He’s only here to take a beating while the rookie golden boy is preserved for the future. Then we’ll draft a left tackle early in the first round next year.

The point being we have options beyond the first round to fill that need at QB, and top tacklees are worth their considerable weight in gold. It's something to think about.
