It does make sense if we believe there was a conversation with Daboll before BBs texts , the zoom and before Flores.

It all comes down to how truthful you think the Giants are being as it relates to when they decided on Daboll.

Personally....I don't trust them. That organization is a joke and Mara is a slime.
The window is Wednesday night to Thursday morning.
Even if they “decided” what is wrong with giving Flores a chance to change their mind?

It’s hard to base facts on whether you trust someone that’s being accused of something. It’s like saying you don’t need proof because you wouldn’t put it past them.

Now, the chatter is that he's done in the NFL, and that'd be a shame. I'd want him back with the Pats are DC in a heartbeat, and hell, as Bill's successor when the GOAT decides it's time to go..

Belichick is done with him after this. Especially with Flores having the "Bill had influence in Daboll getting hired" take. Dude has ventured into Mangini territory.

Wed-Thurs is the window based on the interview schedule and texts.

I am skeptical that is the actual widow of dialogue.

Yeah, just read the new stuff.

oof.

Flores should’ve waited to see what Houston did. Hiring a guy with no coaching experience in Mccown would’ve strengthened his case.

There are two black OCs that recently won SBs. There are two black ex HCs that recently won SBs. Those 4 have more experience than several of the white guys hired. This is the continued pattern in the NFL. Making a case about their discriminatory hiring practices given the actual record is a slam dunk. They just have to get there. It'll be tough with the NYFL judges.

I hope the 3 remaining HC positions go to white guys, especially to McCown with ZERO coaching experience during Black History month. That'll shine a bright light on the NFL hypocrisy about diversity.

If they wait to give them to white guys in March would that be fine

Are you really believing that a HC was hired prior to his interview?
He may have been the favorite in November. He may have been interviewed as the guy they want if he doesn’t step on his dlck in the interview based upon his track record and reputation. That doesn’t mean you don’t interview others.
And you keep not responding to the fact that until
he agrees and signs a deal, he could accept a different job.

There just seems to be a whole lot of assuming in order to back into an argument.

The logic is McKown doesn’t deserve a job because of the racial makeup of past hires, so the Texans should eliminate all white candidates as a make up call.

It's not an argument.

I'm saying what I suspect happened and what i'm leaning towards believing.

Facts may come out that prove/disprove my suspicion.

I think sham interviews happen and I suspect this is one of them.

Yeah, I don't think Bill appreciates being dragged into all this....if this goes to trial, guess who's going to have to testify?

ok we disagree.
I can’t see any way within that timeline that Flores interview was a scam.

That's your twisted bigoted logic. The logic is there are way more qualified black men with years of coaching and HC experience than McCown, who's never coached in his life. I hope they hire him.

Leftwich reportedly turned down the job because he couldn't have his GM.

I would agree and it's a shame because Flores is a really good football coach, but I don't see him coming back to us anytime in the future.

That’s a decision for the owner of the team to make. Not hiring the best man is not racism. Ignoring black candidates because they are black is racism.

They won't wait. They don't give AF.
Are you honestly telling me that they should weight their hiring decision based upon black history month?
So how many extra points do you give toward black peiple during February?

They're not hiring the best man, they're hiring the best white man.
