He is probably best known as the guy who got Mike Leach fired from Texas Tech.

[On a side note, I remember someone saying (paraphrasing) "Look at what he did with the guys Texas and Oklahoma didn't want. . . . imagine what he could do if he actually DOES start getting those guys." While I know there was almost zero percent chance of this ever happening, but imagine what he could have done with, say, last year's offense. . . .]
