    No....

That's just the start of their pathetic attempts to keep Brady v. Manning alive. The sporting world knows that tonight put that to rest forever, but the media will want to keep it as a storyline for as long as possible.

Rich Eisen and Faulk :"any QB wouldve suffered like this"
Deion :"but he is any QB he is the greatest to play we want to call, he is the coach on the field he we say so this is bad on his resume. When he wins its him and when he loses its a team game ?"

the gist of the talk...love deion.

This game couldn't have gone any better as far as I'm concerned. My only regret was that the Seahawks didn't slap a fifty burger on them. Congrats to the Seahawks. They are clearly the best team in the league and deserve the title.

BUT next year is a whole new ball game, and we shall see how things go. A couple of things to look for in this copy cat league are a real premium being put on big CB's in future drafts. A lot of teams are going to take flyers on big CB's a few rounds earlier than might seem prudent and hope they can coach them up into copies of the "legion of doom". I think the use of man to man coverages will become even more prevalent on defenses, as zone defenses become more vulnerable to current passing offenses.

But more on that stuff that in the future. For now, I'm content to start the off season discussion on a positive note.

Why in the world would you want to like Manning anyway?
