small signing bonus
vet min salary (as Browner is suspended games 1-4 and has to work 4 weeks but gives back game checks)
large roster bonus for the 1st day of Week 9 of this season (this replaces the normal salary he otherwise would have gotten). If this roster bonus is not given, he gets a seperation fee equal to the roster bonus.
Per game roster bonuses of $125,000 for remainder of the season
Regular contract structure for any out years.
If the Pats sign Browner to patrol the SS spot, there's an easy $1m free up available.
I love Adrian Wilson - consider him the consummate professional - and I really would love to see him have a good year or two to go out on a high note. But he's a loooooong shot at this point.

CB Brandon Browner will visit the Redskins tonight, per league source.
I'm really hoping he doesn't make that trip
Revis, Browner, Steve Smith would make for one hell of a FA period for the Patriots.
That's the head hunting safety we've needed since Rodney. Sign the god damn beast!
Technically they would only free up about $670k after accounting for the player replacing him on the top 51. I would give him a shot in camp, see if he's got anything left because the savings aren't too significant.
Technically, not really. You would replace Wilson with Browner, not another player, so you subtract Wilson's full number, and add Browner's full number. IE Browner is signed for 2 million, Wilson's cap hit is 1 million, cut Wilson, save a million, and Browner add 2 million, total salary goes up $1million.
