I like it....Even before Bru's knee injury Seau was faster in their old age (when they were younger too) so the speed argument doesn't apply. His leadership and depth will help out alot.
Schefter tweeted about Seau signing this week.. Sounds like it would end up being 12 games plus 3 more in the play-offs if he does sign.. That's a bit more than the 6 games he said previously.
If he signs now, I would expect that he would take 3+ weeks to get into playing shape. No reason to rush him in, so maybe he would be active for week 9 vs MIA (after the LON trip). So, that would be 9 regular season games.
I wonder who's spot he'll take. We definitely need some depth at the position and I could see us going to a 3-4 a bit more, though I don't expect him to play too much.
He probably wouldnt come back until after the bye as someone previously posted. I dont see him playing more than 10-15 plays a game. His leadership and passion will definitely be a help to the team. Could be helpful late in the year when Guyton's body starts to take its toll on him playing every snap the first 4 weeks.

Apparently you didn't read any of my posts in August regarding Ninkovich. He's a special teamer and edge rusher at best. Let's not make him into something he's not. He's within the bottom three on this roster right now. He was signed off the street during training camp and didn't exactly shine during the preseason. He's not the second coming of Mike Vrabel, despite the fact that he wears the same number and kind of looks like him.
