Hard finding players to fit into 3-4 outside linebacker role - JSOnline

Obviously, some of the ends in the defensive line portion of this series would be classified as linebackers for the 3-4 people. But when the Journal Sentinel asked 17 scouts to rate their favorite outside linebackers for a 3-4 on a 1-2-3 basis, those ends were declared off limits.

Sergio Kindle captured 11 first-place votes and totaled 40 points, just ahead of Jerry Hughes (34, four firsts).

Following were Koa Misi (nine, one first), Eric Norwood (six), Jason Worilds, (six, one first), Thaddeus Gibson (four), Arthur Moats (one), Ricky Sapp (one) and O'Brien Schofield (one).

Kindle and Norwood have played linebacker for at least one season. The other vote-getters have not, which gets right back to the projection business.

Literally! Literally blown out of the room, down the hallway and into the trainers' hot tubs!! The man understands offenses so well, he's a friggin' gale force wind!!!

The personal effect Tebow has on people is amazing. The way he has guys like Wes Bunting falling all over themselves is impressive, verging on creepy. (Step away from the Tebow, Wes...) So I don't think we'll have to worry about whether the Pats should take a flyer on him in the 2nd. Somewhere is a GM who has "gone Bunting," fallen under the spell, and will scoop Tebow up in the 1st.
