The funny thing here is there has been absolutely nothing from either the Patriots or the Revis camp on any of this since the end of the season. Have they even swapped proposals? Are the Pats content on letting Revis test the market? None of this makes any sense. They let Vereen go without even an offer. They over spent on McCourty, who apparently is going to be very busy tackling receivers downfield as opposing offenses once again shred the Pats zone secondary full of 5' 8" UDFA CBs.
I'm guessing that the only moves that the Pats need to make to get under the salary cap is to decline Wilfork's and Revis' options. Imagine if they start free agency but cutting Revis, Wilfork, and Browner?
