You complained about Belichick never saying anything positive about Brady compared to that one press conference about Aaron. He made that statement publicly about Tom "there's no other quarterback I'd rather have than Tom" so many times (I've watched every press conference over the last 20+ years) I've lost count. And he unequivocally named Brady the starter before 2016 even started during that entire debacle, so there's also that. So you saying Belichick never publicly showed him the same support just isn't accurate.Unnamed Patriots assistant (probably Steve or Brian):
"If you gave us any of the top 15 quarterbacks in the NFL, we could do it. I don't think the coaches view Tom as special as everyone else in football does. Owner Robert Kraft thinks Tom is the greatest gift ever, but the coaches don't."

He made that statement in January, but it's not any less amusing.zach wilson clearly lacks the personal attitudes of an succesfull nfl qb. he is so lost, i wouldn't coach him or play with him
At least when our guy became a weirdo he kept winning super bowls lol. He's not the player that he was when he won the Super Bowl. He's a weirdo now.
Next thing? LOL, JG was here for two and a half seasons! He did it privately. Went straight to Kraft and the next thing you know Jimmy G is shipped out of town.
Avocado ice cream does not equal sensory deprivation or whatever the hell this nut job is doing. At least when our guy became. Weirdo he kept winning super bowls lol.
Agreed. I think Brady made the switch from “common man” to kind of health nut but he’s still nowhere near as nuts as Rodgers and his darkness retreats and conspiracy theories.Avocado ice cream does not equal sensory deprivation or whatever the hell this nut job is doing.
Brady was a weirdo since he came into the league. At least when our guy became a weirdo he kept winning super bowls lol.

I don’t care how it ends for the Jets, I care how it ends for the Patriots. The cold reality is that as things stand now (and things could change as free agency plays out, and if key players take jumps), the one team keeping the Patriots from being last in the division just got a massive improvement at their biggest weakness, a weakness that probably spotted the Patriots 2 games. This reminds me of a really bad marriage where the woman demands this, this, and that at the beginning and the guy caves in to everything, instead of having some balls. Trust me this isn’t gonna end well for the jets. Aaron will be happy but he won’t.
And no im not talking about MY marriage before yall read too far in!

The climb is getting steeper at a time we are looking to see the team improve. Hell even if we did make some moves on free agency and got better…. we still might end up in last
If Rodgers fell off a cliff he’s still better than Wilson and thus good enough to win those two games against us. And frankly, if that’s the thought process it’s a problem. Rodgers had a down year losing his best WR. He was a 2x MVP the two prior years..We don’t know if rodgers is going to work out for them. Like i said in the other thread, russell Wilson didn’t show many signs of falling off a cliff before denver got him and that backfired big time. Everyone was saying the same stuff about denver. Solid d, good rbs, just need a qb and they will be dangerous. Rodgers already declined somewhat last year and hes much older than wilson. Not saying im not at all worried about him making that team better but if we use our resources well and put ourselves in position to succeed, aaron will not decide whether we are making the playoffs or not. If we fail and miss the playoffs, I couldnt care less if its 3rd place or last place.

This quote pissed me off to no end. One assistant coach does not just get that thought process out of the blue. It sounded to me like it was a shared view - as dumb and as unbelievable as it sounds.Unnamed Patriots assistant (probably Steve or Brian):
