Totally disagree on the last part of your sentence. This was released to avoid/counter the idiotic speculation we had last time about conflicting interests between his family and the Patriots.

Or it was released because information was being leaked from his camp and it's an effort to /try/ and get on the same page.
Because all the info that was available on Gronk was very unusual for a Pats player.

Of course it is possible. However, since we have been through this process already a few times I would be shocked if there was not clear communication between the Gronks and the front office about how to handle the PR side of things in a common effort.

The pats are going to have to grind it out with Gronk, i have no issue with him missing multiple games as long as his ready to go in the playoffs.

Players don't constantly dive at Brady's knees every single game though.

brady's taken some huge hits this year. and yea bodies are always falling next to his knees.
sometimes it's his own teammates..
