Man, that was a thumping hit by a quality safety.

I thought it was a good clean hit. Wish we had a safety like that. Hope he heals fast.

All three of the guys involved in that hit are absolute studs. Thomas, Chancellor, Gronk... I'll take those guys on my squad every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Animals, rolled in beast batter, dipped in monster sauce.

Gronk is tough as nails for playing out the game after getting blown up like that. My family would be making funeral arraignments for me right now.

Ouch. When it happened I was thinking he had the same look on his face that Bledsoe had after the Mo Lewis hit.

Probably had to do with his body twisting, forward momentum and the the focused impact from Thomas (impact being delivered from a small/focused area).

Get Well Gronk, there's no Bledsoe->Brady type replacement for this injury.

Air pressure changes effect a punctured lung hence no flying. He will be more than a week in recovery more like 2 weeks if lucky

It was a cheapshot disguised as a tough but clean hit, no need to go with his elbow/forearm direct to Gronk's chest. They know how to hit without looking dirty.
