There is a reason for thatEvery single solitary mock I've done, Conerly's there at 38. So is Ersery.

Agreed on trading up to 2 being the only shot at Hunter. Respectfully disagree on everything else. You mention you think he’s the best prospect of the next five years but there’s no way of knowing that. That’s including a whole group of players still in high school right now. The next Hunter might be among them. The other thing is that kid out of Ohio State, Jeremiah Smith, he has the brightest future at WR of anyone in college or entering this draft IMO. Assuming full health, Smith could be a better WR than Hunter at the NFL level.Only shot we have at Hunter is trading up to 2..
I’d be tempted to go broke on getting Hunter.
Our 4. A first next year a third and a player like Dugger.
We are only talking about him at WR because of need, let's be real. His natural position is CB. The best chance of him having 2 way utility is him being a starting CB with gadget WR routes. From the video, most are predicting him to be CB. Are you still taking him at #4?
Alternatively, I could see us adding Carter and a DL in the 3rd transforming us into a top 5 defense (and a lower-level corner in free agency). He's a good player, this "Generational" crap has to stop, he's NOT going to play full time both ways in the big league.
Ok for the best player in this draft and maybe the next 5 drafts absolutely,
Problem is Browns nor Giants would take that deal.
This…I vote for a “Mediots Draft Prediction” thread to merge everythingAre we really going to have threads about every mediot's draft predictions?
YesFrom the video, most are predicting him to be CB. Are you still taking him at #4?
Trading up for Hunter would be insane. Mostly because we're still bad, and need a 1st round pick next year.I keep seeing this "Generational" crap...it hurts both my eyes, AND my brain.
I'm not quite ready to advocate for it nor would I be mad if we did it.Trading up for Hunter would be insane. Mostly because we're still bad, and need a 1st round pick next year.

I love this narrative that MHJ sucks now, when he would have had the best numbers on the Patriots last year.Trade up for Hunter? No way. Remember the hype about Marvin Harrison Jr.? Generational player and all the silly stuff. Sure, take Hunter at 4 if he is there, but do not burn precious extra picks for him; the Patriots have too many holes to fill and one player is not going to do it.
...
And this supposes that Cleveland would want to trade away the second pick and end up at 4. Why would they do that? Who are they going to pick there? Campbell?
You build from the TRENCHES, Carter is technically not, but front 7.... almost trench.Campbell/Carter/Graham.
Those are my guys, Carter's foot makes me nervous, but those have been my 3 for many months.
@signbabybradyI see the 3rd we got for judon and the 5th for Milton really helpful this draft for us. I still feel like we are going to add another WR even if we get Hunter.
