Kyle Arrington told on us on Sports Net Central that as much as he'd love Revis back (we're a family), this is a biz. 24 has to do for 24

Way to help the cause

Eagles acquire QB Sam Bradford and a 2015 fifth-round pick for Rams QB Nick Foles, a 2015 sixth-rounder and a 2016 second-rounder.

An aside, Chip Kelly is horrid.

Chip Kelly putting it all on the line there^

Don't let the Jets (or whomever) dictate the game board.

Counter with a two-year offer at $14M/year with incentives at $1M for reaching the Superbowl and another $1M for winning the Superbowl, for a total of $16M X 2 years....and then guarantee $28M of it.

That addresses the injury liability situation...and puts the challenge squarely on Revis' back, in that he'll still be young enough to earn yet another contract, with say, $18M guaranteed over that first year (of the follow-on contract)....thereby netting $46M over the same 3-year period.

Aren't you up to it, Revis?

I wish I could use more of the dislike and disagree options on this

Epic meltdown in Philly. New Orleans had cap issues. Philly has management issues - and if the guys on NFLN are any bellweather, many of the players are pissed about his willingness to just dump stars or toss them to other teams.

Free agent CB Darrelle Revis‘ representatives have told teams that they have a three-year, $48 million offer on the table now, including $40 million guaranteed, per Jason La Canfora.

  • La Canfora adds that “his sense” is that the offer is from the Jets.
  • La Canfora also reports that New England offered guaranteed money in “the mid-30s” and that the Chiefs are in the bidding as well.

Quite a remark from a $4 million special teams player who was abused by a third string receiver and had to be removed from the field. He will become our top cornerback if we don't sign Revis.

This scares me deeply.
We need Revis even more now.
