Just not enough passes and plays available. Assuming they keep Agholor, your top 3 will be Parker, Bourne and Meyers, #4 would be Agholor. Where is there room for a rookie WR ?
Play the best players. You don’t think an excellent WR could surpass those guys ? I am not nearly as down on the WRs as many other posters, but let’s keep it real. A rookie Randy Moss would play ahead of all those guys. (I’m not saying there is a Randy Moss in every draft…)Just not enough passes and plays available. If the goal is to move on from Agholor, I hope they already had something in place before the trade.2023 3rd is like a 2022 4th in terms of relative value to teams. Good deal for both teams. Phins didn’t need Parker and cost is reasonable for the Pats.
I agree that the Pats seem likely to deal Agholor now. They need to open up cap space, unless they have already agreed to an extension with Parker, to reduce his 2022 cap number.
Why would the goal be to move on from Agholor? Now with a running mate like Parker, Nelson is gonna have a big year. He's a talented guy with speed and hands, he was just carrying too big a burden last year. Mac also missed seeing him open deep a number of times last year, so they'll get on the same page this year.If the goal is to move on from Agholor, I hope they already had something in place before the trade.
We will need to free up cap room for this trade, plus more for anyone else. And then we need to free up over $10M for various expenses after the draft.
Why even bring this up? Not only has he not done anything for the Pats, many Team Bill posters didn’t see the need to improve the group. But now that he makes a move, he’s a genius!LOl where are the Bill haters?
It was a reply to another’s comment earlier in the thread when discussing cap ramifications and his hit coupled with Agholors hit and how it might signal that the team has to make a trade to fit Parker under the cap.Why would the goal be to move on from Agholor? Parker is unstoppable when he gets going. Gilmore is an above average CB who couldn't man up on this guy at all.
While I agree with you (no need for the post), maybe he recognizes that every time something the fans on here are against, the Bill Haters are on the doorstep. Why even bring this up?
