Report Dolphins took extra precautions for Patriots Game instead of preparing for the game

Miami was worried about the old prank where when you pick up suitcase all your underwear falls out because someone unlocked the latches.

I love the part where it makes opposing teams and their fans behave like paranoid jackasses.

The part where it encourages defamation, poor sportsmanship, and disrespect . . . and we lose drafts picks for no reason, not so much.

Pats can't control Goofell or the media. This is what comes with being a fan of this team for better or worse. I've learned to enjoy the games, the rest is noise. It's a small price to pay to watch the greatest QB/HC combo of all time.

Thanks, Miami, for giving the Patriots that extra motivation they needed to slaughter you this weekend.

AKA the famous Bruschi/Harrison Bulletin Board Material.. one might think that Tannenbaum would learn by now, otoh probably not.

So they brought extra personell to keep and eye on the uniforms and equiptment.

Me thinks maybe they should have brought some actual football players so they could fill those closely guarded outfits.

I'm as pleased as anyone with the success of the Patriots. I'm not pleased with watching Goodell transform the NFL from a legitimate sport into a corporate, money-grubbing, suckfest.

I'm not pleased with the hypocrisy and pandering to jealousy/poor sportsmanship we're getting from the media.

If this is the kind of "price" I have to pay, I question more and more whether it's worth it.

Peyton Manning gets accused of using PEDs, and suddenly this story comes out. What an amazing coincidence! Great job watching out for the integrity of the game, Roger.

Speaking of coincidences, Dalton supposedly injures his finger and can't play, the Steelers throwing their games against Baltimore, so that crap Denver team manages to clinch a 1st round bye. Lol. If the Patriots lose to Miami and Denver beats San Diego, Manning's bowl push will be as obvious as McMahon screwing over Austin all those years. Can't wait till Pedton wins his last, the media will destroy him and the league, as they should've done last week.

"Patriots cheating, again!" The headline is so played out at this point and desperately shows how they want to distract fans from the fix they have in store for Denver. Just wait.

The McMahons strike again.

I gave up on the NFL when that witch hunt against Brady started.

Yee already said the NFL wants certain outcomes, when he made that phone call to CNN. How are we not discussing that comment. It's obvious they are fixing games and trying to restore balance to the so-called Brady and Manning rivalry. How does the GOAT send the seabirds into extinction, while the pre-determined GOAT makes a mockery of himself? How can the NFL make up for this one?

Wait until SB 50.

Folks!!!!!

There will probably be a 75% Patriots crowd there this Sunday.

Think about that for a second. This will be a home game in a warmer climate.

"Mi-Ko Griiimes.....clap, clap, clap, clap, clap........Mi-Ko Griiiiimes.....clap, clap, clap, clap, clap......"

Shmessy, I agree on the attendance but I wouldn't do chants aimed at anyone's wife, even Peyton's.

The Denver game was pretty disturbing as it looked even more rigged than Kings Lakers 2002 game 6.

After pushing the "cheating" narrative really hard this off-season (with the SDNY being a real Debbie Downer with their notions of "due process"), it's probably safe to say that no one (except Patriots fans) wants to see the Patriots repeat as champions. Especially for the super special 50th anniversary Superbowl.

On the other hand, how swell would it be for Peyton, America's favorite shill for crummy pizza, to retire with another ring? Instead of the "evil" Tom Brady's face all over Superbowl 50, how about Peyton with his Forrest Gump-esque charm for this golden anniversary fiasco? That's what everyone wants to see!

And this is what it looks like the NFL is coming to. . . giving the people what they want (or what they are conditioned to want). We may as well be watching the Harlem Globetrotters or American Idol.

You are in the wrong thread. This has nothing to do with Mrs. Manning.

You are confusing a spouse who is an innocent bystander with one who actively inserts herself into the team in public.

Miko Grimes is NOT Ashley Manning.

I'm assuming we both know how to change the channel or better yet turn the TV off. Nobody is forcing anyone to follow the NFL.

I take pro sports for what they are, a distraction from the everyday drudgery of work and dealing with life. If I internalized every accusation and shoddy media piece I would go insane.

I didn't put Goody and his cronies in power. We can actually thank Bobby for that. Until I get a say in how the league conducts itself it's useless to go through all the hand-wringing. We as fans only have one decision, watch or not watch. Maybe when TB12 retires I'll re-evaluate my stance.

She is still family regardless of how idiotic she behaves. Going after her would be classless and would only serve to fire up a moribund team.

Exactly.

No sh.t, I thought she was.

Going after players families is classless, period. Why you think it would benefit the Patriots for fans to go after her is beyond me, I think you're smarter than that.

So because NFL turns out to be a fixed show these days, we are not allowed to comment about it? Sorry if reality ruins the fun for you.

I guess I'll just go back to pretending that it is perfectly normal for refs to continuously screw up games without an agenda, I'll act as if Manning never took 'roids, in Ashley's name, to get an advantage. I will pretend that Dalton sitting out because of his thumb is acceptable though Brady had a fractured hand, few seasons back and didn't miss a game, because that is what the NFL expects out of its consumers.

I still enjoy watching the game, though not much as I used to, because of Brady. However, it's getting harder to shut up at act like what I am seeing on my TV is real. But for the NFL and its fans sake, I guess I can just go back and pretend that we have a real shot against Denver in the playoffs. Then wait until after the loss to bring up conspiracies, like most fans do.

Belichick has the same reputation Red Auerbach had when he was coaching the great celtics teams. Our competitors can't figure out why they win so much and assume they have an unfair advantage. BB must get a good chuckle about teams sweeping locker rooms for bugs and bringing extra staff with them to games against his team. He really is in other teams heads.

Maybe they should've brought some staff to protect their quarterback too.
