Worth keeping tabs on them

Packers: Sam Shields CB was released - Had a really bad concussion last year which IR'ed him and got popped for Weed. Seems he still has headaches from it.

Packers: James Starks RB was released.

Browns: Justin Gilbert CB was released. (former first round pick)

Browns: Josh McCown QB was released.

Browns: Tramon Williams CB was released (they now have 105M in cap room

I really liked shields when he was healthy. I am a canes fan. Won't turn 30 till december.

If Shields' brain isn't mush (and if it is, he should save himself and retire), I'd love him brought in as depth. Seems like he might actually need the weed for his concussion symptoms, which could make him a suspension waiting to happen (and a sign that he shouldn't be risking more concussions).

Also, this is a nitpick, but Gilbert was actually cut by his second team: Pittsburgh. No one knew because he did nothing there.

Man, I can't believe how badly he fooled me pre-draft.

Both would be worth bringing in, in some capacity, if the issues were to clear up.
