Red Zone Problems on Offense for 3 Straight Years

There were plenty of talented offensive players Bill passed on and took duds on D that weren't needed between 2013-2019 or just flat out took the wrong offensive player.

There were playoff loses starting in 2010 due to their offense plateauing and getting exposed by good defenses.
You say that like there are teams out there that did better.
Yes the patriots didn’t win the SB every year, but they had the longest and greatest run of success the sport has ever had.
To say NeEd MOrE wEaPoNzzzzz as if focusing more assets in pass catchers would have produced better overall results is saying you think the best way it’s ever been done is wrong.

Truth hurts, doesn't it? Have you been to their mansion in LA with the moat around it? Have you been asleep since he met and married her? The hair plugs, the TB12 brand obsession, her encouraging him to go on Facebook like some old lady would do, his passive-aggressive behaviors in recent years. The Facebook doc, making it about himself, etc.

What a loser. He destroyed what made him.

Pats fans being honest reacting to his antics is a lot more genuine than him and his disingenuous Fanboys all over these interwebs.

Pats won, what, 3 rings since Brady met Giselle? Hilarious you're trying to paint Giselle as some sort of negative presence. If anything all that healthy eating he got from her extended his career by 5 playing years.

Pats have enough weapons, they have 6 legit pass catchers and a promising rookie QB. Problem is one would have no idea we have 2 of the highest priced tight ends in the league based on the targets or play-calling.

At their current pace our TEs will end up with 136 targets 112 receptions and 1144 yards.
Only someone not paying attention or having an agenda wouldn’t notice that the TE position is being used heavily in the passing game.

Smith and Henry 17 targets, Kelce 15. Gronk 13
Tampa TEs 164 snaps 15 targets
Patriots TEs 186 snaps 17 targets

Any other brilliant insights?

Beyond red zone issues this offense has issues with an OC who has zero clue how to use 2TEs and also a crappy OLine.

This team really needs a new offensive coordinator. It looks way too much like Denver'10 and StLouis'11 including all the excuses to match the crappy offenses.

.

-Somehow the offense is getting worse. Fire the OC before this looks like Denver'10 and StLouis'11.
-OLine continues to be terrible. Fire the OC. Stop pretending Herron or Durant can play, they cannot.
-Mac rushing 5 times shows how crappy the pass protection is. Mac should not be the rushing leader in a game!
-Brandon Bolden should never run the ball over the 3 other RBs, ever. FIRE the OC.
-Team still has no idea how to use 2TEs. Stop using Jonnu as an outside receiver, he is a middle of the field tight end.
-Red zone issues continue. Fire the OC.

-Run defense remains an issue. Bentley and Godchaux still suck.

.

"So far this season, the Patriots have run 31 offensive plays between the opponents' 10 and 25-yard-lines, the seventh-most of any team in the league. However, they’re averaging just 3.0 yards per play on those snaps, which ranks 30th just ahead of Detroit and Miami.

The high red zone is typically an area of the field tight ends can dominate, which makes these struggles all the more puzzling after the Patriots added Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry in the offseason"

For me the questions are:
How do you make a great blocking and pass catching TE?
How do you vision speed and great route running ability in a WR?
Why is the a 3rd down RB so important in our offense?
As a Patriot fan i look at our great teams from the past and these 3 positions in the Red Zone
was the Red zone offense. It's seems this combination is extremely hard to come by. Talent evaluation, (the groceries) is a major problem going forward.

From Mike Reiss:

One of the most troubling statistics for the Patriots is their No. 32 ranking in red zone offense, having scored just two touchdowns in eight trips inside the opponents' 20. It's going to be hard to beat the Buccaneers if that doesn't improve, and establishing a more consistent ground attack could be a big part of the formula.
