That cake was mostly baked the moment they let Bogaerts go, and was pretty far along as soon as they signed Story, and I'm sure 90%+ of the fans know that. I doubt this ownership/management team will be able to fool the fan base as to why Devers walks. Bloom's been a ****ty GM, but this is obviously a problem that starts at the top. And anyone doubting that can just think back to the John Lester situation.
