Nice opening day victory ... all the parts were working.

Can already see this team has some nice chemistry ....

Nice to see Ortiz hit a bomb today ... he's never been a good cold weather hitter so anything in April and May is a plus for him. ... man Francona got fat WOW! If Castillo and Sandoval can be dealt I think we'll see a left fielder by the break ... love Holt but I like him playing everywhere. With injuries as they are he'll get his at bats anyways.

If we can get a nice LF stick look out. who knows ... maybe Benintendi is there come summer. He starts in A-ball but unlike Moncada and Devers he's 21 already so it's not a crazy idea. An outfield of Benintendi - Bradley - Betts would be very nice. But I'm betting on a trade ... a veteran to go with Young on a short 1 or 2 year deal.

I'm watching the Sox get clubbed by TOR right now. The team looked good going into the 4th and up 2-1, but Joe Kelly was on the mound. FYI: he didn't get an out in the inning, before coming out with the Sox down 7-2. Of course, before he gave up the Grand Slam to Donaldson, he beaned the previous batter off the head, giving up the go-ahead run, after loading the bases. In fact, I need to check the calendar right now. Yes, this is 2016!

Joe Kelly, and the rest of the starting pitchers, are absolute trash. Let's see how long Double D waits before he starts panicking upon the realization that his team simply is not a serious contender for anything but last place - again.

Maybe I should clarify. I didn't get a chance to listen to the performance. I heard that was very good. I was actually commenting on her looks.

i was never impressed with Swihart as a catcher. I thought he still needed a lot of grooming in AAA and he was rushed to the majors. Vasquez is the far better catcher at this point
