Literally - another player or coach can raise a concern about a player regarding concussions...

Um...soooooo.....what stopped the Falcons players or coaches from "raising a concern" about Brady getting hit near his own goal line before the game tying drive, and forcing JG in the game for a play or two?

Seems like by rule they can do this.

The problem with this rule is that you could potentially pull a player from the field just about every play or at least multiple times a game.

NFL's decades long stupidity aside they are trying to address an impossible issue.

If a player gets dinged but feels good enough to play (self evaluation) he is not going to run to the sideline and tell a "spotter" that he felt some concussion like symptoms. So I suspect many are playing through numerous micro-concussions which are just as CTE related as the full blown knocked out concussions are.

CTE research is the key to this issue. Finding a way to scan the brain to see actual CTE damage will be crucial in regards to a player's long term health. Unfortunately the NFL has used tobacco industry type tactics when "researching" CTE issues.

LOL The Flyers are now asserting that they feel Orr may have sustained a concussion, and referee Skov is taking Bobby out for the last two minutes of the game for him to be examined...

The Lakers are now asserting that they feel Bird may have sustained a concussion, and referee Strom is taking Larry out for the last two minutes of the game for him to be examined...

I would think/hope that "another player, coach" was meant to refer to another player or coach on the same team.

On the other hand, wouldn't it be great for the Patriots to use this against the Ravens, just to witness this happen to John Harbaugh:

The fact that by rule other teams could do the same thing to them. Probably not a can of worms they want to open up.

Also they aren't Goodell and have at least some measure of integrity.

BB beats Harbaugh like a rented mule so often, they could put JH in the concussion protocol.
