That's the one thing you've chosen to focus on, and is important of course - there are also a lot of other positive things things to be said for Agholor, as demonstrated by the video posted earlier in this thread showing exceptional route-running and speed outside the numbers.

That was some very impressive route running, along with the speed and athleticism to make him pay after the setup. Love it.

Corey Davis got identical money (over an additional, third year), but I would argue has a more limited ceiling. Davis is a really good, predictable ‘X’, but he doesn’t have the athleticism or top-end speed to threaten a defense deep.

Agholar, on the other hand, has a higher ceiling, is more athletic, better speed, and can be a true deep threat. He’s also viable over the middle and from the slot as well. A lot more potential there for sure, and most likely a better fit for what the Pats need (so long as he can consistently and reliably catch the ball).

Please tell us that you're not implying that Agholor is a...better...receiver than Corey Davis is.

Because that would make you - and anyone else who falls for this - look extremely gullible.

Yeah agreed. Davis has a few 180 yard Receiving games last year. Lower ceiling? Lol

Bourne is a great signing. A great wr3 chain mover

These are the type of signings that Tom got tired of.

He led the NFL with over 11yds per target. There are questions marks about drops and whether he can reproduce that form but he is a good addition and i think Tom would have liked a genuine deep threat.
