Nice article...... hopefully this shuts up people who think Brady is the only one getting Preferential treatment from the refs

Two late hits on quarterbacks, two different results. NFL hypocrisy at its finest.
The Lions took on the Packers last night at Lambeau, a place they haven’t won since 1991. They dominated the first half statistically yet only led 14-10 at the break, because, well they’re the Lions and they do things like fumble the ball when nobody’s around. But I digress.
The Packers began the second half with the ball and faced a 3rd and 6 near midfield. That’s when this happened.

Now, as many of you are aware, Ndamukong Suh’s the leagues Bad Boy. The NFL version of a 1980s Bill Laimbeer if you will. Though the 15-yard personal foul here is sketchy at best, you can almost understand the reasoning. The refs simply didn’t want a game featuring questionable late hits on quarterbacks..............................

this has noting to do with Aaron Rodgers geting more respect but its more about the lions D lines rep for playing Dirty

Stafford is this eras Drew Bledsoe or Kerry Collins. He deserves to get hit the way he stands back there.

Jaws says his mechanics are not improving during off seasons. He doesn't think Stafford gets the right coaching because he's repeating all the mistakes he's made since he was a rookie. He has peaked unless he gets to work with the right coach.

Worthy was shoved forward by a Lions offensive lineman, while Suh's actions were taken entirely on his own

i like Jaws but Stafford passed for over 5000 yards last year and is over 4000 this year with 3 games left... not all QB's can be Brady and Manning who throw less then 10 INT's evey year

Suh is feeling the effects of his well-deserved reputation as a scumbag. No complaints here.

Sure, but Stafford really makes some bone-headed mistakes at times, and like BR and Jaws says--he just doesn't seem to be learning from them too much.

His tendency to just wing the ball up in the air is Tony Romo-esque.

He has a nice arm, and could be one of the great up and coming younger QBs in the game, but he needs more discipline and more effort. He won't be able to take the next step on his raw talent alone.

In the meantime, I expect him to have nice numbers and to be able to wing it around, but if he is going to actually lead his team to more victories and wants to be placed in the 2nd or 3rd tier of QBs, he needs to do a lot of work.

I think that's a great point. Some QBs just have a lot of raw talent, but that does not always equate to success in this league. It takes a lot more than that.
