Butch Jones has a mind? Who woulda thunk it?
Improvement from the Combine, which is to be expected I suppose. They're better rested, and often the stopwatches are a bit more charitable. Previous numbers:
4.51 4.37 6.95 10 36 10.17
Combine can be a rough place:

Great agility numbers from Oliver. Surprised he didn't run the 40 again, but I guess he was happy with 4.51. Funny how the psychology of numbers plays into things. If he had run 4.49 he probably would receive a ton more buzz. But with his long arms and easy movements, he should still develop into a CB #1 over time.
Interesting note about the Marshall QB. I could see him thriving here as a backup, although I don't know if he has starter upside.

I'm not a huge fan of Walter Football, but at least he has updated Pro Day results, for what they're worth. I don't see short shuttle times, though. That's a little annoying.

Info starting to come in for Auburn and Rutgers. Too bad Turay was injured again. Story of his college career. It's hard to think he'll generate a lot of interest early in the draft, with how unreliable he has been, historically.
Pro Day March 9: Auburn, Rutgers & Princeton | Draft Analyst
Davis ran 4.45, an improvement of about .05, as expected at a pro day. He is incredibly rocked up for a corner, and on tape is my number two guy for a man to man press scheme (overall, I grade Ward ahead of him, and Alexander about equal, but with more versatility since he can also play slot; Davis has elite size and physicality for the outside though). Johnson wasn't too far behind him, either, coming in between 4.49 and 4.54.

In other news, it appears that Emmanuel Butler received a redshirt season. I had him pegged as an UDFA of note, but obviously this changes things.

Interesting slot guy. Watched some games, and his speed flashes on tape. Solid tackler, too. Plays closer to the line of scrimmage than generally expected for a guy his size. Not afraid to come downhill and pop the ball carrier. That kind of workout probably puts him in the late 7th, but his size might keep him undrafted.
I think the Draft Analyst site updated after my post, because I am really excited to see this line in particular from the current pro day report:
As you may know from my other posts, I'm a huge fan of Nelson and Jamerson. Nelson showed up well, as I expected, in his agility tests: 3.89s in the short shuttle and 6.70s in the 3 cone.
