He's definitely the prick pick.

The dude can play ball though and I'm willing to bet Brady has said worse on the field. Ask Sherman. If the Pats draft him, he'd instantly become a fan favorite. If not Mayfield, then I like Woodside as a developmental QB.

Maybe. Or maybe not. I think that being ****y/confident is not a negative unless it's more than that.....can't tell from this distance. He might not be able to take the BB daily grind.

That’s true but. He was not available for the super bowl. Later they give up more picks from this year and next. So they mortgaged the future for him. May work out for them but might hurt at some point too. It’s a lot of picks

When your franchise is desperate to win a super bowl, there are no regrets for mortgaging the future if you win it.

I think that BB would love him. The kid is passionate about football.

Been watching vids. Wish we could get this guy but I don’t know if we could get up high enough

I think BB does enjoy his attitude from a distance. I'm not sure Mayfield is built for BB though. I doubt we'll find out but you never know.

Aside from the crippling substance issue, sense of entitlement from having everything handed to him, and the fact that Baker is a much more gifted pocket passer than Manziel.

He just seems like a douche. That’s why i thought he compared to manziel.

Depends on how other teams feel about his attitude. I don't think they'll move up to the top five to get him but, if they like him enough, and he's available right before the LOLphins pick, I could see them trading up. It all depends. The kid's footwork inside the pocket is impeccable (the reason why he rarely gets balls batted down in spite of his size), he always keeps his eyes downfield, and is the only QB I've seen in this draft that consistently used his eyes to move safeties. Those are all traits that translate at the next level. The only really negative thing I can say about him is that sometimes he tries too hard to keep the play alive when he should just take the sack or throw the ball out of bounds and live for the next play. But that's a habit that can be coached out of him.

I don't judge him because of that Kansas game. They didn't shake his hand and took a cheap shot at him and were chirping throughout the game...

Johnny Manziel, but he's not a rookie.

Seriously, though, I doubt he trades up, so I'll go with White.

He looks real good. I like his ability to scramble, make people miss, and still throw it on the money. He also seems to be able to put the ball into a window where the reciever can get it but it’s out of reach for defenders. Now, I know that highlights and replays are not the gold standard for judging talent but I don’t have anything but game highlights on YouTube to look at.

Our entire playbook would have to be altered with Mayfield leading the offense, but it could work out. I really prefer not getting Mason Rudolph at the bottom of the 1st or at the top of the 2nd. Especially at this draft, the 43rd pick could be used to get a 1st-round value player who might drop down due to team needs and position runs. I would prefer getting Lauletta/White/Falk with the 3rd rounder so that we don't waste value.

They will take somebody in either round 3 or round 6.

Maybe 10 more years and Jack Brady will be ready to take the helm. Just need to keep him away from soccer.

There's this, and him warming up on the wrong side of the field, and the pre-rose bowl crap. No way. I want no part of him. None. Zero. I'll be thrilled when the Jests get him.

Even Micheal Irvin calls him out.
I was wondering when I saw this. I said, 'Man, how is this going to play out?' This is going to be interesting to see how this goes. I was a bit shocked. Now I like fire in my quarterback. I love that Tom Brady has that fire in him and how he gets into it with his players and with his team to get them going. He's the first one down there to meet them when they catch a touchdown, all that stuff. I love that fire in my quarterback. If you can give me an emotional leader at the quarterback position, boy you've got something. That's why New England, they've got something. But I want my quarterback not to be grabbing his junk.

"I saw what he did," Irvin said Monday in his regular appearance on 105.3 The Fan's G-Bag Nation. "That ain't talking trash - that's showing trash. It's one thing if you talk. ... [But] first of all it's a quarterback and we place our hands, touchy-touchy and easy-easy with a quarterback. And then this is a Heisman Trophy guy - is he still up for the Heisman?"

All set.
