It was a cost saving measure. You can thank your friend Bob Kraft and the other corrupt owners for their greed. I can't remember the details but having the design similar saved them money. That's all it was really about.

NE has averaged 183.8 rushing ypg over the last 4 games & 165.5 ypg in January. Develin is SO underrated.

Can we say DOMINANT??

Even more impressive is the fact that opposing defenses know that we are running when Develin is on the field, yet they cannot stop it.

And unlike some teams, I can say with confidence that those numbers are NOT inflated by QB scrambles.

This game as do most games, come down to the 2 lines.

1. Can the DL create pressure on goff like they did against Rivers/Mahomes? Of the three quarterbacks, Goff is the lesser. If they can generate the amount of pressure against him that they did against them there is a good chance he gets flustered or throws a few our way.

2. Can our offensive line/run game dominate as they did against the chargers/KC? Patriots basically said we are tougher than you and ran it down their throats. By the end of those games the opposing defense didnt even want to tackle them. If they can do that to the Rams, I dont think Goff has the ability to do what mahomes did. which is stand in the pressure and make ridiculous throws.
